The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced that the 39th Annual National Bikers Roundup is coming to the State Fairgrounds this week, bringing in 40,000 motorcyclists from all over the country. It will be the first time that the National Bikers Roundup, founded by African-American motorcyclists, has been held in Arkansas.
The roundup, here Aug. 3-7, is the largest camping motorcycle camping rally in the U.S.; more than 1,000 clubs participate. The event always includes a food drive; this year’s event benefits Arkansas Foodbank.
The rally’s Facebook page says the event will feature performances by Nicky Parrish, Urban Mystic and Calvin Richardson on Friday, along with karaoke, kids events, domino tournaments and more. Harley-Davidson Motorcycles will showcase the bikes and biking accessories. Admission is $20 “with colors,” $30 without.
