The Little Rock City Board denied last night the appeal of a Planning Commission rejection of a proposal to rezone two residential lots at the corner of Cantrell and University for commercial use, perhaps a restaurant. I’d mentioned the idea earlier. It drew strong objections from the Heights Neighborhood Association.
I don’t have the vote, but Facebook posts about the meeting indicate the vote was unanimous.

UPDATE: The change required votes on two separate measures. Both failed in voice votes described as unanimous after a pitch by an attorney for the landowners and opposition from four people.
