Arkansas State Troopers remain at the scene of a multiple vehicle crash inside the Hopper Tunnel along Interstate 49 (northbound).

Initial reports from the crash scene were received by the Arkansas State Police at 11:40 AM today.

Although no official reports have been submitted by the troopers at the scene, possibly as many as ten vehicles were initially reported to be involved in what may prove to be several chain reaction rear-end collisions.

Injuries were reported to the responding troopers, however none have been confirmed to be serious.

For a short-time all traffic was stopped until 12:33 PM when one lane was cleared.

At 1:33 PM all lanes were open and traffic was moving.

No further advisories are expected until final reports are submitted by the investigating troopers.
