Donald Trump was at the keyboard this morning, in a rage about James Comey and news coverage of his firing. Remarkable stuff, again.
* He seems to try to intimidate Comey into silence with a reference to potential tapes of their conversation. Rose Mary Woods, where are you?
* And, as for shifting accounts of his actions by White House spokesman and himself, Trump said people shouldn’t expect complete accuracy..

Mr. Trump said on Friday morning that no one should expect his White House to give completely accurate information.
“As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!” he wrote on Twitter.
“Maybe,” he added a few moments later, “the best thing to do would be to cancel all future ‘press briefings’ and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???”
PS: Trump’s anger was undoubtedly fueled by this New York Times account of Comey’s dinner with Trump and Trump’s demand for loyalty from him.
