The Daily Beast reports that notices have been sent to potential claimants in a class-action lawsuit over the marketing of a movie, “Last Ounce of Courage,” by robocalls made by Mike Huckabee.

Some 4 million calls were made for the war on Christmas-themed movie that was a critical flop. The lawsuit claims the calls violated rules aimed at limiting unsolicited commercial calls. The calls were styled as a survey, with answers leading to other supportive questions. Huckabee is said in the suit to have composed the script and included plugs for his own radio show, but he is no longer a defendant.

The lawsuit was dismissed, then reinstated by an appellate court and certified for class action in January. It targets a Texas billionaire who helped bankroll the film and could potentially be a big payday for the lawyers who brought it.
