KAIT in Jonesboro reports the arrest of two men in connection with efforts to resell 10 season tickets to Arkansas State University football games that had been stolen from a mailbox.

The tickets were put up for sale online. An undercover bought some and then made arrests.

The tickets were said to carry a value of $3,250. Story didn’t say what the undercover cop had to pay for the tickets. Less than face, I’d guess, judging by Stub Hub pricing for ASU ticket resale — as low as $6 for the contest against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. (By way of comparison, Stub Hub is asking almost $30 for the cheapest seats to the Razorback opening game Thursday at War Memorial Stadium against Florida A&M.)
