Tomorrow marks the fifth year for the Little Rock Pride Fest, a parade organized by Central Arkansas Pride. Their mission is to:

“…raise awareness of diversity in the community and, through celebration and education, recognize the positive contributions of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community in Arkansas, teach tolerance and acceptance, eliminate prejudice and bias both internally and externally, and honor our sexuality, our culture, our families, our accomplishments, our individuality, and our ongoing struggle for equal rights.”

The parade starts and ends downtown near the Clinton Library and will wind its way around 3rd & Scott. Mot of the action will be taking place in the Riverfront Park where there will be live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, adult beverages, Pride Talks and a family zone.
Be there by 1pm to join the parade. It’s free to participate, but a $5 donation at the gate is welcomed.
