Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is threatening to sue the NFL to stop a contract extension for NFL director Roger Goodell.

Arkansas native Jones is a disrupter, as the ESPN commentator says.

Jones is unhappy about a range of issues, recently and particularly a suspension of a star running back. But TV ratings are down, too.  A passing thought that has been examined by others: NFL interest has peaked and a drop in viewership may have roots in issues other than a few kneeling football players.
