Marci Manley, who’s been a news reporter for KARK/Fox 16, is joining the state Department of Human Services to become the department’s chief spokesperson.

Her title will be deputy chief of communications. She’ll be paid $69,776.

The job starts Jan. 4. The news release said Manley will work with Amy Webb, the department’s chief of communications and community engagement.
