Another prison death: Friday night at around 10:58 p.m., staff at the Cummins Unit in Grady found inmate Henry Bunch lying unresponsive on the floor of his cell. A statement from the Arkansas Department of Correction said that correctional officers and medical staff performed emergency medical treatment on Bunch, who was then transported to the unit infirmary for further emergency treatment. He was pronounced dead at 11:35 p.m.

The Arkansas State Police will conduct an investigation into the death and the State Crime Lab will perform a post-mortem examination of the body. The Department of Correction will also conduct an internal investigation.
