No photos yet, but this is the best thing in my e-mail this morning, from the University of Arkansas Office of Sustainability:
A herd of goats from Greedy Goats of Northwest Arkansas are devouring invasive plants along a trail on the U of A campus.
What: Greedy Goats
When: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 25 (unless it’s raining)
Where: Oak Ridge Trail, a section near the Garland Avenue entrance.
Removing invasive plants such as bush honeysuckle and Chinese privet gives native species a chance to recolonize the area, returning it to its natural state and supporting the local ecosystem.
Goats don’t work in the rain?
