Good idea. The state Medical Marijuana Commission, which meets in a room that has been too small to handle the crowd, will be live-streaming its meeting today at 4 p.m.

You can watch it at this YouTube page.

It could be interesting. The Commission is to discuss the scoring of applications to receive dispensary permits. The scoring and award of five cultivation permits was a mess and has spawned one lawsuit. Next week, when a Supreme Court decision overturning an order blocking the awards is final, the commission must decide whether to award the permits as intended or start over, as some unhappy applicants desire. If the permits are awarded, the odds are strong that there’ll be some challenges to some if not all awards.

Winners say the process may have been slopping, but it’s been a learning experience for everyone and the process should mean something. A change now would be unfair, they argue.
