Recent gun deaths in Arkansas include a teen shooting his mother and death of a Saline County youth in a game of Russian roulette.

The Saline Courier reports the death of a Haskell youth in a game of Russian roulette.

Police say the two friends attempted to retrieve the gun from the victim after he pulled the trigger the first time, but failed to do so. The second trigger pull resulted in the victim’s death.

Police say the victim’s parents were not home at the time and that the firearm belonged to the father.

KTHV reports a Woodruff County woman was fatally shot by her 13-year-old son outside their home in Maberry.  The boy’s grandfather told authorities the shooting was accidental.
