The Correction Department is reporting what it calls an apparent suicide Thursday evening in the Ouachita River Correctional Unit in Malvern.

Anthony Griffin, 52, serving a life sentence for capital murder from Crittenden County, was found dead in his locked, single-person cell about 5 p.m. No further details were provided.
