Little Rock police say they are investigating the death Sunday of Margaret Clevenger, 56, in her home on Old Forge Court, as a homicide. No arrests have been made.

Police were called about 8 a.m. Sunday to 3 Old Forge Court by Clevenger’s husband, Timothy, 58. He said he’d come home to find his wife on the floor, unresponsive.

Police said she had severe injuries and was pronounced dead at a hospital. Timothy Clevenger also received hospital treatment for what the police said was an “unrelated medical issue.”

The police said injuries were consistent with a homicide and the medical examiner will do an autopsy.

Detectives did a neighborhood canvass and crime scene search.  They also interviewed Clevenger after his release from the hospital.
