Today’s snark: A friend notes new Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers on job growth, touted by Gov. Asa Hutchinson as one of the achievements of this administration. Arkansas ranks 47th out of 50 in job growth year to year in August. The regional breakdown is even worse:

Our growth rate was better than Alaska, Kentucky and Vermont.

My friend suggests Texas should send some of its workforce development money to Arkansas since so many Texans are getting a subsidized education at the University of Arkansas before returning to Texas to work.

And, of course, a big income tax cut for millionaires is the missing piece for more Arkansas prosperity.
