Tuesday is the last day to register to vote in the November election in Arkansas. It’s important.

It’s also worthwhile to check to make sure you re STILL registered. Rock the Vote has a lookup for that.

You can register to vote by mail if the mail is postmarked no later than Tuesday, Oct. 9. You may also register in person through Tuesday at county clerk offices.

More information on registration here.

Early voting begins Oct. 22.

It’s a shame, but in a dozen states you can register up to the day of the election. In Arkansas, the Republican legislature prefers to make voting harder, not easier.
