Gov. Asa Hutchinson has scheduled a series of town hall around the state beginning Monday. The stops don’t include Little Rock

It’s styled as official business, but it amounts to state-backed campaigning. The purpose will be to “discuss his efforts to transform state government, reduce taxes, increase teacher salary, improve highways, and other topics.” In the spring he had town halls in Jonesboro and El Dorado and Northwest Arkansas.
