Quick update to yesterday’s item on the deer that crashed into the Cross County Courthouse, near the tax collector’s office: Via KFSM, courthouse surveillance video footage has been released, showing the break-in.

KFSM reports:
County collector Debbie Davis said she had a front-row view when the animal came bursting in.
“I heard a loud boom and looked up and saw glass shattering everywhere. I asked myself, ‘was someone playing a trick on me?’”
It was no trick.

Hopefully the little doe is okay. She left a trail of blood, but Arkansas Game & Fish officials said that they were able to corral her back outside safely.
