The Arkansas Times Brooke Wallace gamely agreed to test a Lime e-scooter this morning, so photographer Brian Chilson could film. The pay-as-you-go scooters were introduced to the River Market and elsewhere downtown today. The city and the e-scooter company have agreed to a six-month pilot project.

Key takeaways from Brooke: You have to push off to get the scooter going. It goes pretty fast (14.8 mph). Heels are not ideal footwear for scootering. You should wear a helmet (but you know, you gotta keep your hair looking right).
