Fox 16 reports that Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control and Little Rock police are reviewing the case of Brianne Carter, 21, killed when her car driving the wrong way on Interstate 40 collided early Sunday with a MEMS ambulance.
Until 27 minutes before the crash, Carter had been at Midtown Billiards, where she’d had three to four beers and a shot of whiskey during about 3.5 hours at the bar, the ABC has found. Also, she spoke with a Little Rock police officer as she left the bar. The ABC memo said she appeared to sway slightly as he left at 4:50 a.m. The ABC said Carter had been at “multiple” establishments that serve alcohol before the wreck. The Little Rock police are reviewing their officer’s actions that night.
A toxicology test is required in all fatal wrecks. The results, in this case, aren’t known.
