Reminder: There’s a public meeting tomorrow to talk about ways to improve the Interstate 30 expansion project through downtown Little Rock, a billion-dollar project that is a half-billion short in available money and seems certain to undergo radical change from models discussed in the planning process.

The meeting will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Darragh Center of the library at 100 Rock Street.

The Improve 30 Crossing grassroots group is sponsoring the event. It’s hoped that elected officials and highway officials will attend, since most of them are behind the big concrete gulch to further divide downtown and harm the city grid system.

All can speak. All can ask questions.
