Rebecca Black of Greenbrier won a $430,000 Natural State Jackpot in a drawing Tuesday with one of six tickets she purchased at the Kum & Go on Old Morrilton in Conway.

An Arkansas lottery release said she purchased five tickets, three with specified numbers and two “quick picks,” or automatically generated numbers. The clerk printed a third quick pick by mistake and Black kept the ticket, which was paid for by reducing change Black had expected. That ticket was on the top of her stack when she checked numbers while she was waiting for a Cherry Dr Pepper at a Sonic drive-in. It was the winner. A win requires matching five numbers.

Black, who plans to retire this year, said she’d pay debts, invest some of the money and buy a headstone for her mother, who died last year and with whom she often played the lottery.  About a third of the prize will be withheld for state and federal taxes.
