Morning Consult is tracking 5,000 registered voters on Donald Trump’s approval rating and the numbers are trending downward.
It’s early. The numbers don’t reflect how he’d do against a specific opponent. Polling is not infallible. But there does at least seem to be a trend away from complete adoration in places like, say, Arkansas. But at 52-44 on May 19, he’s still a net winner here.
The good news, as Kyle Griffin pointed out on Twitter, is this:
Trump remains underwater in key battleground states, according to Morning Consult.
New Hampshire: -19 net approval
North Carolina: -4
