Said a release;

As part of its ongoing commitment to enhance security at schools and buildings, LRSD has installed new, high-resolution cameras throughout the District, and upgraded alarm systems at nearly 40 sites.  The upgraded alarm systems will result in a savings to the District of nearly $2,000 per month.
Plus, there is a significant difference in the cameras compared to those previously in use – 1080P and 4K technology with greater detail and zoom capabilities.

I’ll just say news releases such as these prompt mixed feelings.
