Gov. Asa Hutchinson is leading what’s called a national computer science summit in Little Rock today, with participants some 30 states including Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds and South Carolina Gov. Kim McMaster.

You can watch the whole program at either AETN’s public meeting channel or at the governor’s YouTube channel. Speakers include Hadi Partov, CEO of Code.Org, a nonprofit aimed at encouraging computer education in schools. The session is sponsored by some major tech companies.

Hutchinson emphasized increasing the number of people who’ve been taught coding and the diversity of those taking the courses.
