The attorney general’s office has announced Medicaid fraud charges against another former employee of Preferred Family Healthcare, a multistate nonprofit that was severed from the Arkansas Medicaid program after a federal corruption probe began indicting its former executives, lobbyist and legislators.
This is the fifth person associated with PFH named in state court charges.
Michelle Davis, 59, of Texarkana, who’d been a licensed counselor, faces two felony counts of Medicaid fraud. She’s alleged to have received $4,258 in Medicaid funds for services she didn’t perform between 2015 and 2018.
She was arraigned this week in Pulaski District Court.
