Here’s the July 4 open line. My friend Bruce sent a photo last night from his venue of choice — Lake Ouachita. He’ll have plenty of company, though more room to roam there than on some other lakes in the state.

Others will tune in Fox for Cadet Bonespurs’ co-option of the military for a tribute to himself. I’ll be on the lookout for the promised blimp addition to the Capitol mall events. And perhaps lighting some charcoal here in Little Rock.
