A Little Rock man was stabbed six times Saturday night after he reportedly insulted a black Elvis impersonator, the Little Rock Police Department said.

The victim, Korey Giles-Brown, said he was with Dwayne Turner, AKA “Belvis the Black Elvis,” and told him, “If I were white, I would kick your ass ’cause you are the shittiest black Elvis ever.” Giles-Brown told police an unknown man in a green shirt then took off his shirt and said he would kick his “ass for saying something like that.” Giles-Brown then took off his shirt and two men reportedly begin to fight. At some point during the fight, Giles-Brown was stabbed and the unknown man ran away.

Turner achieved some local fame in 2008 when he serenaded Hillary Clinton at Kitchen Express in Little Rock. He was an Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase judge the same year. He also got mentioned on the “Planet Hillary” 2014 New York Times Magazine cover that Vanity Fair called a “dadist masterpiece.”
