The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville has accepted a five-year, $4.63 million award from the National Science Foundation for training students in cybersecurity for the university’s existing program. The award is intended to address a lack of cybersecurity professionals nationwide, and also has a focus on attracting underrepresented student populations. It also provides for a partnership with Northwest Arkansas Community College, and all students will be offered internships at government agencies.
