Beer and wine in the “public” seats — as opposed to private suite and club seats — is the big news for Razorback Stadium this football season, but other fan-friendly changes are in store.

Here’s a rundown from the the Athletic Department. Among the new features this year will be closure of a street by the stadium to create a new tailgating area, the Hog Town Street Festival.

In brews news, the release said Anheuser-Busch and CORE products will be available in the public seats, the result of an SEC rule change allowing beer and wine sales in stadiums. The student section will be exempt. Miller-Coors beverages will be available in club seats.

The season opens Aug. 31 against Portland State.
