Yahoo reports that Walmart is ending sale of e-cigarette and vaping products. It had stopped sale of some flavored products last May and raised the purchasing age to 21 for all tobacco products.

“Given the growing federal, state and local regulatory complexity and uncertainty regarding e-cigarettes, we plan to discontinue the sale of electronic nicotine delivery products at all Walmart and Sam’s Club U.S. locations,” Walmart said in an internal memo first obtained by Yahoo Finance’s Julia La Roche.

Current inventory will be sold. Walmart is not exiting the tobacco sales business.
