MANN BUILDING: Sold to pension fund.

The Mann Building at 322 Main Street has been sold to a Chicago pension fund for $16.5 million, a news release from Newmarket Moses Tucker Partnership announced.

The former Blass Department Store building was redeveloped in 2013 by Mann Development LLC, which consists of Jimmy Moses, Rett Tucker, Rog Rogers, Barbara Hoover and Tommy Lasiter.

That LLC will continue to own an adjacent parking deck and smaller building with a restaurant and other occupants. The Mann Building is almost fully occupied by state agencies and Samantha’s Tap Room and Wood Grill.
