The U.S. attorney’s office announced today a federal grand jury indictment of two Camden men in the robbery and killing of a pawn shop owner. in Pine Bluff.
Daryl Strickland Jr., 22, and Rodney Tyrone Henry 22, are charged with six counts in the November 2018 robbery of Alon Gas Station in Pine Bluff and the attempted robbery and killing of Brandon McHan, owner of the Wise Buck Pawn Shop.
The indictment gives notice of a finding of crimes sufficient for the penalty to be sought.
The suspects were arrested in December. They already face capital murder charges in Jefferson County, where the prosecutor has said he’ll seek the death penalty.
McHan was fatally wounded in an exchange of gunfire with two men. They fled, but returned, and a friend of McHan was wounded when they resumed firing.
