The survey put Little Rock at 459 among all 515 cities in overall rankings; 489th in the “jobs and economy” ranking and 378th in “sociodemographics” ranking. The factors include population, workforce, business and investment activity, foreclosure rates and business permit activity.

Among mid-size cities only, Little Rock ranked 230 of 250.

Fayetteville has more reason to cheer: 49th overall and 239th in jobs and economy ranking overall and 14th in the ranking of small cities.
