November state tax collections continued a trend of an increase over the same month last year and ahead of the forecast on which the state budget is set.

Gross revenues in the month were 4.7 percent above the same month last year and 1.5 percent above forecast.

Five months into the fiscal year, the state has built a surplus against forecast of more than $87 million.
