Slow day. It’s worth a revisit to Donald Trump’s Michigan rally Wednesday, another tour de farce.

MAGA believers’ call-and-response on toilets was a highlight, along with his gibberish about dishwashers, light bulbs and other assorted ills.

In other Trump news from down the rabbit hole:

  • Daughter Ivanka has blamed a decline in public morals for Donald Trump’s impeachment. Well, yes.
  • A Trump supporter drove a truck into a pro-impeachment rally.in North Carolina.
  • Documentary evidence mounts of Trump administration extortion of Ukraine for political ends, both from e-mails at the time Trump was pressing the leader of Ukraine for favors and news this week that Trump has insisted on withholding Ukraine aid from the spending bill.
  • Trump is quoting Vladimir Putin as a critic of his impeachment.

Does any Republican in the Arkansas congressional delegation still want to argue there’s no merit to criticism of Trump on Ukraine matters? I’m not asking for an impeachment vote. None has the spine for that. But it would be nice to hear an acknowledgment of Trump’s actions and evidence and perhaps at least an arched eyebrow at the propriety of the deeds of this dishonest, immoral narcissist.
