First the Bryant PD would like to thank you all for the support and all the thoughts and prayers being sent out for our officer involved.

Earlier this evening our officers responded to the Greens apartment complex next to Target for a male subject that was suicidal. When officers arrived on scene, the subject fired his weapon and our officer was shot. She was later airlifted to UAMS. The suspect was then confronted moments later and was shot and killed by another officer on scene.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and all those involved in this incident. We will keep everyone updated of our officer and her condition as we receive it.
