Six more people died from flu-related causes last week, the state’s Department of Health reported in its latest flu report. That brings the total number of flu-related deaths in the state to 33 since the flu season began in late September, including one pediatric death.

Since the flu season began, four facilities in Arkansas, including two nursing homes, have reported influenza outbreaks. Four schools or districts have closed briefly due to the flu.
