Harvest House of Cannabis, formerly known as Natural State Wellness, has received approval from the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division to open at 900 S. Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock, according to Scott Hardin, spokesman for the Department of Finance and Administration. It is the second dispensary in Central Arkansas’s Zone 5 to receive approval to open and the first in Little Rock.
Alex Howe, head of corporate communications at Harvest, said the dispensary plans to open early next week. The dispensary’s operating hours will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday.

Harvest House of Cannabis is operated by Harvest Dispensaries, Cultivations & Production Facilities LLC, the same Tempe, Ariz., company that will operate Natural State Wellness Enterprises’ cultivation facility in Newport, according to an interview with a Harvest representative last year.
Harvest House of Cannabis is not related to Harvest Cannabis Dispensary in Conway, which opened in October.
Seventeen of Arkansas’s 33 licensed dispensaries are operating. The Medical Marijuana Commission voted Jan. 29 to issue an additional dispensary license, bumping the initial 32 licensed dispensaries up to 33. The newly issued license holder, Nature’s Herbs and Wellness in Pine Bluff, recently paid its $15,000 licensing fee and the required $100,000 bond.
