Central Arkansas will get its third dispensary of medical marijuana when Herbology Dispensary opens at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the former Joubert’s Tavern space at 7303 Kanis Road in Little Rock.
Herbology is the “retail brand” of Grassroots Cannabis, a Chicago-based medical cannabis company that grows, processes and sells marijuana in Illinois, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Maryland, Oklahoma, Ohio, Vermont, North Dakota and Connecticut.
According to a press release, Herbology will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce at 2 p.m. on opening day. The 7,375-square-foot dispensary includes one waiting room, where medical marijuana cardholders will have their cards scanned; consultation rooms; and 11 “point of sale stations.” Available products will include cannabis flower, vape cartridges, extracts, oils, topicals and concentrates.
Herbology, the second dispensary to open in Little Rock, is located just a few blocks away from Harvest House of Cannabis at 900 S. Rodney Parham Road, which opened Feb. 17.
Also open in Central Arkansas’s Zone 5 is Harvest Cannabis Dispensary (unrelated to Harvest House), at 1200 Thomas G. Wilson Drive in Conway. Scott Hardin, spokesman for the Department of Finance and Administration, said Natural Relief Dispensary in Sherwood is in the process of completing the final inspection of its facility at 3107 E. Kiehl Ave. with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division. It will be the fourth licensed dispensary in Central Arkansas’s Zone 5 when it opens.
