40/29 TV reports that the National Park Service will reopen day use of the Buffalo National River and the park’s trails beginning May 15.

Private and commercial enterprises may float the river and use trails within park boundaries except for the Lost Valley Trail.

The park is still closed to camping, whether in campgrounds, on gravel bars or in the backcountry. Visitor centers are also still closed.
