Sen. Cotton (R-AR) fear-mongers about life in a city:
“[Dems] want to make us all poor. They want to make you live in downtown areas, and high-rise buildings, and walk to work, or take the subway, or ride an electric scooter, or whatever it is that Pete Buttigieg takes to work.” pic.twitter.com/5BcpDrmOKN

It’s a slow day, so why not revisit an Internet throwdown on Tom Cotton’s strange take last week on the supposed hell of living in cities. (This is from a man who moved his Arkansas residence from rural Sand Lizard land to a condo in downtown Little Rock and is rarely seen there, preferring his home in the larger Washington, D.C. metropolis.
Huffington Post rounded up some criticism afterward. Examples:

They want you to live near good restaurants and lots of entertainment options, the communist bastards. https://t.co/fFlfe6IKYS

Country or city is fine. Far removed from Tom Cotton is better.
