COVID today: 1,053 new cases and eight more deaths

Here are today’s numbers on COVID-19 in the state from the Arkansas Health Department.

Total cases: 918,576, an increase of 1,053 from the number through Monday

Active cases: 10,989, down from 11,044

Deaths: 11,830, an increase of eight

Hospitalizations: 332, down from 346

In ICU: 52, down from 57

On ventilators: 19, up from 17
