This footage captured at a fundraiser in New Jersey checks all the boxes for what we’ve come to expect from a Sanders campaign event: It’s held out of state, there are no people of color anywhere to be seen, and Sanders’ service to Trump is touted as her best and only qualification.

Will Sanders’ connection to Trump be enough to clinch the win? Easily. Unless, of course, another stolen election is in the offing? Trump himself suggests as much in the clip below. He’s been known to plant seeds of doubt in case he needs to save face down the road. And considering that an estimated 70% of Republicans continue to believe Trump was the rightful winner of the 2020 presidential election, it’s not a bad strategy if you don’t mind lying.

While she’s been on a “Freedom Tour” through small-town Arkansas in her Freedom Bus lately, Sanders continues to bring in the bulk of her campaign cash from outside the state. That external focus for fundraising, combined with her seeming lack of focus on Arkansas-specific issues, hint that her political aspirations stretch beyond state borders.
