The Arkansas Times is seeking an energetic and motivated sales account executive for our special publications division. This growing division includes our popular niche publications like Bike Arkansas, Arkansas Wild, Arkansas Flavor, Blueprint, Block, Street & Building, IT Arkansas and Visitor’s Guide.

Special publications account executives are responsible for maintaining current client lists and bringing in new business. Successful team members need great communication skills and a strong work ethic, motivated by a sense of purpose in their role and an interest in marketing that helps their clients succeed.

Our AE’s pay structure combines the best of a stable income stream and regular commission growth that allows executives to increase their income steadily year after year.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience is a plus 
  • Digital or print media experience is a plus, but there are a variety of work backgrounds that could equip a candidate to excel
  • Great communicator 
  • Self motivator  
  • Networking and negotiation skills
  • Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines
