The North Little Rock Police Department on Nov. 21 released information about two separate homicides — one a shooting, the other a stabbing. After some investigation, detectives identified the suspects of each crime as teenagers.

In investigating the stabbing homicide, detectives identified 17-year-old Berach Kinchen as a suspect in the death of his father, Lenarr Kinchen, 46. The police report said the teen was charged as an adult with second degree murder.


Days later on Nov. 25, the North Little Rock Police Department identified 15-year-old Sean Williams as the suspect for a shooting at the 400 block of North Palm Street, the Hemlock Courts apartments.

The victim’s name was not released, but he was identified as a male. Police have a obtained a warrant for first degree murder, and Williams will be charged as an adult for the crime.
