Richard "Bigo" Barnett Matthew Rosenberg on Twitter

Richard “Bigo” Barnett, the Gravette man who propped his feet up on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s furniture during the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection, did some serious shopping before the riot, federal court records show.

One week before the riots at the U.S. Capitol, Barnett bought pepper spray, two-way radios and a hiking stick that features a stun gun at Bass Pro Shops in Rogers. Total cost on that stop alone: $189.94.

This information and more appears in documents filed Monday by the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington as Barnett nears his Jan. 9 trial date in U.S. District Court.
