The search for a Toyota RAV4 used in a fatal hit-and-run on Highway 82 in Lafayette County has ended, the Arkansas State Police reported Monday afternoon.
The victim was an 85-year-old man who was struck just after 5 a.m. on March 9, according to the ASP. He lived about 30 miles away in Springhill, Louisiana, and was in Arkansas visiting family, ASP reported.

State Police have not yet released the name of the driver involved, and said a death investigation is ongoing.
