Little Rock attorney Brooke Augusta Ware announced her candidacy today for the Pulaski County Circuit Court judgeship being vacated by Judge Mackie Pierce.
Pierce announced last week that he is seeking the Little Rock District Court seat being vacated by Judge Melanie Martin, who is running for circuit judge.
Ware is senior litigation attorney at Cordell & Cordell where, she focuses on family law, including divorce, custody, child support, guardianships, adoptions and related appeals, according to a press release.
Cordell & Cordell has offices in 35 states, including an office in Little Rock. The firm’s website says its divorce attorneys “focus on men’s divorce and dads’ rights” and lists the phone number 1-866-DADS-LAW.
Ware previously worked as the director of development at the University of Arkansas at LIttle Rock Bowen School of Law and as the director of planned giving at Hendrix College. Ware was also previously a law clerk for two circuit judges.
